The halt was due to a suspected vulnerability, which prompted Terra to work closely with validators on the Terra (phoenix-1) network. The team quickly rolled out an emergency patch to address the issue.

Validators holding over 67% of the voting power have already upgraded their nodes to prevent the vulnerability from recurring. It’s expected that more validators will complete their upgrades soon, ensuring the network’s continued stability and security.

Terra announced the halt and the subsequent upgrade via Twitter, reassuring users that they are committed to maintaining the integrity and reliability of their blockchain. This swift action underscores Terra’s dedication to safeguarding its network and users from potential threats.
