Key Highlights
  • Bitget has upgraded its Agent Hub platform with new Skills and CLI modules, allowing AI agents to execute real-time crypto trades through natural language instructions and automated scripts.
  • The platform now features nine core modules, 58 tools, and hundreds of integrated capabilities covering the entire trading lifecycle from market monitoring to order placement.
  • The Skills module enables AI agents like Claude and Cursor to automatically recognize trading intentions and call relevant APIs, while CLI enables system-level integrations with standardized JSON outputs.
  • Developers can integrate AI agents into the platform within three minutes, transforming AI from passive market analysis tools into active trading participants.

Crypto exchange Bitget has rolled out a major upgrade to its Agent Hub platform, introducing two new core modules—Skills and CLI (Command-Line Interface)—designed to accelerate the development of AI-powered trading systems.

The update builds on the platform’s earlier release of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and API tools, positioning Agent Hub as a comprehensive gateway for AI agents to interact directly with crypto markets. According to the company, the new capabilities allow AI systems to move beyond analyzing market data and begin executing trades in real time through natural language instructions or automated scripts.

Expanding an AI-Native Trading Framework

In an announcement shared on X, Bitget said the latest upgrade strengthens its vision of creating an AI-native trading infrastructure.

With the addition of Skills and CLI modules, Agent Hub now includes nine core modules, 58 tools, and hundreds of integrated capabilities covering the entire trading lifecycle—from market monitoring and strategy execution to account management and order placement.

The platform supports multiple integration standards, giving developers flexibility when building trading agents. These include:

  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) for structured AI interactions
  • Skills modules for automatic task recognition and API invocation
  • API access through REST and WebSocket connections
  • CLI integration via the bgc command-line tool for automation and scripting

Bitget says developers can integrate AI agents into the platform within three minutes, enabling rapid deployment of automated trading workflows.

Turning AI Agents Into Active Traders

A key goal of the upgrade is to transform AI from a passive analytical tool into an active participant in trading operations.

The newly introduced Skills module allows AI agents—such as Claude, Cursor, and other development tools—to automatically recognize trading intentions and call relevant APIs.

Meanwhile, the CLI module enables system-level integrations and automated scripts, producing standardized JSON outputs that can interact directly with trading infrastructure.

Together, these features allow AI agents to perform tasks such as retrieving market data, analyzing charts, and placing orders automatically based on predefined strategies or natural language instructions.

Building on the February Launch

The latest update follows the initial launch of Agent Hub in February 2026, which introduced the MCP toolkit and API suite.

That earlier rollout focused on providing standardized interfaces, secure sub-accounts, and modular strategy tools that connect AI models to production-grade trading infrastructure.

Since then, Bitget says the platform has been enhanced with low-latency data feeds, improved security controls, and permission-based environments to support institutional and developer use cases.

Key Use Cases for Agent Hub

Bitget outlined several practical applications for the expanded Agent Hub ecosystem:

  • 24/7 Market Monitoring: Real-time alerts for breakouts, abnormal volumes, and market trends
  • Automated Spot Trading: Conditional orders, batch execution, and order tracking
  • Futures Strategy Tools: Position management, leverage settings, and risk controls
  • Account Management: Asset transfers, balance tracking, and sub-account monitoring
  • Copy Trading: Trader leaderboards, performance filtering, and profit analysis
  • Earn Products: Discovering yield products, managing subscriptions, and tracking returns

Simplified Integration for Developers

The platform is designed to integrate with mainstream AI agents and development tools. Developers can connect through multiple methods, including:

  • Skills modules (npx skills add bitget/bitget-skill)
  • MCP server integrations
  • Direct API connections
  • CLI installation (npm install -g bitget-client)

Once connected, AI agents can perform functions such as checking prices, retrieving chart data, managing portfolios, and executing trades autonomously.

Expanding the AI Trading Ecosystem

Bitget says Agent Hub will serve as a foundation for future innovation across algorithmic and AI-powered trading applications.

The company plans to introduce additional initiatives, including developer programs, project incubation, and a skills marketplace aimed at expanding the platform’s ecosystem.

Developers and traders can access Agent Hub documentation and installation guides through the Bitget website.
